Postdoctoral Researcher Position
Project Description: This ISF-funded project, led by Dr. Hadar Ram, aims to explore the interplay between psychological distance, variability, and valence in the context of learning from experience. We will investigate how these psychological factors affect individuals' ability to generalize knowledge and attitudes, as well as adapt to new situations. The project will involve a series of experiments designed to assess the impact of these variables on learning outcomes, with implications for both theoretical understanding and practical applications in educational settings. Responsibilities: • Design and conduct lab and online experiments. • Analyze data. • Write articles based on project findings. • Collaborate with team members. Location: Hybrid work environment, with options for remote work and on-campus presence. Start Date: November 2024; Flexible to accommodate the right candidate. Duration: One year, with the possibility of extension to three years.
