Program Requirements

In order to acquire a degree from the program, students must complete 36 credits in total. The first 4 courses on the below list are mandatory courses and the remaining courses are electives. Students can also take 6 credits worth of outside electives from other MA programs with the approval of the program head and program coordinator.

Each CPG course is 3 credits worth.

At the end of the year, a final take-home exam is given to the students, which is 10% of the total grade. Thesis track students are exempt from the final exam.

Israel Cyber Security Eco-System (fieldtrips dispersed throughout the year) /to be changed according to the COVID 19 development /
Elections, Representation and Government in the Cyber Era
The Cyber International System 
The Age of Technology

12 credits in total

Six elective CPG courses/seminars (courses that are numbered 1020)

18 credits in total

2-3 outside elective courses that will be listed from the second semester. Students who insist on taking outside electives from the first semester should research the options themselves and let their coordinator know.

6 credits in total*

*these elective courses can be substituted with CPG electives too. The program will open an additional 1-2 seminars.

Altogether, by the end of the year, students must complete a total of 36 academic points.

Academic hours of each course in the program are 3  hours and academic weight of each course is 3 credits , accordingly.

Students are to submit 3 seminar papers in 3 of the courses mentioned as "seminar" on the program's schedule. Seminar classes have the same credits as non-seminar classes.

Seminar papers lengths must be anywhere between 6 000-7 000 words, depending on the request of the lecturer. Formatting of the work is based on the lecturer’s instructions.
