About

The M.A. in Global Migration and Policy is an interdisciplinary master’s program taught in English which offers students the opportunity to engage critically with national and international issues that are at the forefront of today’s debates about migration and policy, including the labor market integration of immigrants, the challenges of social integration and ethnic identification of the “second generation”, marginalization and discrimination, migration and the environment, immigration and citizenship policies, humanitarian theory and practice, and refuge and asylum, among other subjects. Program participants learn with and from Israeli and international classmates. The program's structure enables students to obtain an M.A. degree (via a study track with or without a thesis) within 2 years. Students gain hands-on experience through internships in the field and can participate in a range of workshops, seminars, and 2 humanitarian aid training sessions certified by RedR. Students can also choose to spend a semester abroad in one of several exchange programs at universities affiliated with TAU.
