Prof. Nira Liberman received her Ph.D. in social psychology from Tel Aviv University in 1997. She had a post-doctoral position at Columbia University, NYC during 1996-1999, and an assistant professor position at Indiana University, Bloomington during 2000-2001. Prof. Liberman is presently in the social psychology program at the Department of Psychology, where she has been a faculty member since 2001.
Prof. Liberman received the career trajectory award from the Society of Experimental Social Psychology, the Kadar award for excellence in research, and is the winner of the 2022 Rothschild prize. In addition, she is a fellow of the Association of Psychological Sciences and is a member of the Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities.
