Omer Solodoch is a Ph.D. candidate in the School of Political Science, Government, and International Affairs at Tel Aviv University. His research interests include international political economy, comparative political behavior, immigration policy, and experimental methods.

Omer uses experimental and statistical methods to study the political impact of globalization. His dissertation particularly deals with the conditions under which immigration policies cause or mitigate public backlash and political instability, with applicable implications for immigration policy design. Other facets of globalization he studies include financial crises and foreign direct investment and how they shape or interact with political outcomes.

Omer's research has appeared or is forthcoming in the academic journals International Organization, Political Studies, and Regulation & Governance. He received his B.A. in Economics and M.A. in Political Science from Tel Aviv University.
